The Archmage and the Coin of Abraxis

My name is Alexander Sanna and I’m a wizard...a real one and I’m over two thousand years old. Magic is all around us no matter where we are magic is having some kind of a role in our lives and mostly only magic user’s can even sense it. My full name with titles is Alexander Nikolas Sanna Archmage of the Grand Court and the keeper of the archives.

For the most part once you learn how to use it magic is ridiculously easy to use, at least the everyday stuff like moving books around or opening doors. That is of course if you aren't in my home, once I learned enough and my master let me go out on my own I started warding and enchanting it. It started out small with just a simple one room hut but eventually became a massive, ancient ever growing castle. This is where the archives of all the magic in the world are kept, and not because people want it here but because they can’t take it from me. Magic grows over time, the older you get the more powerful you become and the average lifespan of a magic user is about three hundred years give or take a few decades.

Rabbit's Foot Phone App

Arrghh...” I moan as I groggily sit up in bed, “Yup I’m an idiot...definitely drank to much last night.” I mutter. I made the mistake of going out to a few bars with my roommates last night and after that I don't remember all that much. But it’s a pretty good bet that the night ended with me being alone, since...well that’s what always happens.

I stand up and Immediately regret it as pain shoots through my head, right shoulder and right leg. I limp into the kitchen to grab a bunch of painkillers and some water, as I swallow them down two naked bombshells walk into the kitchen with their huge tit’s bouncing around and from my angle I can even see their ass’s jiggling ever so slightly too.

Ohh..like hi we're....” Begins one of the obvious ditz’s before I cut them off.

Wishing Stone

I hold my head in my hands as I try to clear my head of the last remnants of sleep. It’s five in the morning and after years of having to get up early for numerous job’s, you would think I had gotten used to it by now, but no... of course not. Finally I stand up on my aching old knees and hobble my way to the bathroom. I look in the mirror as I turn the lights on and see the same tired old face draped by long dark brown hair which is liberally peppered with grey hair and a long beard that is almost completely grey except for a few patches of brown. What little of my face that can be seen looks like old tanned and wrinkled leather. Slowly I move to the shower, and the heavenly feeling of the hot water loosening up my stiff body helps me wake up. I spend nearly forty minutes in the shower before getting out to get dressed and head out for the day. While from the shoulders up I look like I could be in my late sixties, from the shoulders down the small layering of fat that the years have given me covers mountains of muscles. I pull on a pair of ragged jeans that are more patches than the actual original jeans along with a thick flannel shirt over a thick t-shirt and along with a pair of old battered work boots. On my way out I grab my jacket and gloves and make my way down the hall and out of the building.

I live and work in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska working the oil fields doing any number of things the bosses tell me to. I start my day by walking down to the diner for a quick breakfast and some coffee before I start work. I walk in and as usual the place is packed but everyone has learned their lesson to make sure they leave a spot for me at the counter. Claire sees me right away and makes sure a cup of coffee is waiting for me to sit down and the cook is already cooking my breakfast.
